If carnosaurs really could go through bone they have tyrannosaurs beat in all aspects of opportunistically utilizing various prey items.

Well the post is up. We already have proof of blade toothed theropods going through bone, An allosaur pubic foot got partially cleaved right off from the Mossrison (Chure 1998). The pubic foot is one of the most robust/dense bone in the theropod skeleton. Culprits could only have been another allosaur, ceratosaurus, or torvosaurus. I don't know why this startling bone chomp is seldom mentioned. It's pretty graphic evidence of bone slicing among non-tyrannosaurid theropods so all this going on about "only tyrannosaurs exploited bones" is a bunch of hooey.
